This is adding detail to Fright & Fight. I have started swatching the textile for the pants which I want to be big and baggy. the boy will wear a chopped up hoodie with tattoos over his baby vest which is made out of the same fabric as the child hiding under the table he is standing on.

I thing I’ll put him in a more aggressive silhouette. After all, that is the first thing that people will recognise…

Depicting a spontaneous experience of Being.

This exhibition will show a young girl of 10 wearing a beautiful butterfly dress crafted out of hundreds of butterflies made out of silvery and blue metallic thread. These represent the beauty and lightness that the girl feels as she imagines that she can fly. The cube on which she stands will show reference images she has in her head when she senses this feeling such as looking into her mother’s face as her mother is smiling and delighting in her.

Calm

Showing the physical and mind state of total calm.

This shows a 12 year old boy standing in oriental inspired jacket and pants that are crafted out of different shades of indigo in fine wool and silk to evoke a sense of softness and comfort. These colours represent water, use the traditional japanese design to symbolise this and represent the bodily sensation of complete calm when he is in water.
