Getting people on board
This is my favorite bit and was greatly spurred on by peoples fascinated expressions when I started discussing the project with them.
Scholarly ideas behind the exhibit
It's a relief to get all my scholarly musings arranged into some kind of order to accompany this exhibition. After all, one of the greatest inspirations behind the exhibition was sharing all the interesting ideas around mental health and development I had stuffed in my head over the years with as many people as possible.
Experimenting with the designs
The knitting part is intuitive and easy, but working with body forms and on a more sculptural level will be a challenge. All my artist friends are going to be roped in to help, willing or other?!
Logistics of getting it done and delivered
Deadlines are cast in stone and on this project we are hurtling towards July 2012 on the other side of the world. As a chaotic first-timer this will be the biggest challenge of the project.
